A robust and durable injector

About Us
The WaterLow injector is formed by a multi-perforated LDPE tube at its distal end, which is protected by an inert and durable mineral granular layer. The injection tube is connected to the surface irrigation network via a connection system.
The Waterlow system is placed in contact with the roots (20 to 30 cm deep) by drilling holes using an auger. Thus, WaterLow delivers irrigation water and liquid fertilizers directly to the roots. It is a system designed with eco-friendly and non-toxic materials for the roots, capable of withstanding high temperatures and resistant to sandstorms. It can last 15 years or more. With 4 years of hindsight, the WaterLow system has proven its resistance to soil clogging and root obstruction of the injector tube orifices. WaterLow represents the best irrigation system for organic arboriculture in arid and desert zones.

WaterLow

Subsurface Sensors, Remote Control, Self-Regulation.

Coupled with subsurface hygrometric sensors and a smartphone application, WaterLow controls pumps and solenoid valves for a fully autonomous irrigation — a sustainable gain in time, water, energy, and labor.

Proven Savings

Benefits
(compared to the surface drip system)

Savings in irrigation water 70-90%

Compared to surface drip irrigation, depending on the soil type.

Savings in liquid fertilizers

Around 80% savings.

Savings in labor

By avoiding weeds.

Avoids soil salinization

Root irrigation avoids the evaporation of irrigation water and thus salt deposits on the surface.

Disease Prevention

Absence of moisture in contact with the tree trunk. Less risk of fungal infection, fewer attacks by pests.

Low installation cost

Installation of an injector in 30 seconds using a simple mechanical or thermal auger.
Fiche Technique EN

Technical data sheet

Injector Tube:

LDPE tube, 50 cm long, multi-perforated at its distal end which will be buried in contact with the roots. This end is surrounded by a protective mineral granular layer enclosed in an eco-friendly non-woven fabric pouch. The surface end is sealed by a hermetic cap. A 5 mm air intake is placed below the cap. A 5 mm connector is placed 20 cm from the distal end (30 cm for date palms). This connector is linked to the connection system.

Connection System:

It allows linking the injector tube to the surface irrigation network. It is formed by a 4.5/6 mm PVC micro tube, 25 cm long, connected to a Key Klip LMB drip emitter of 4 L/H (8 L/H for date palms).

Installation

Quick and easy installation

Thermal auger, 20 cm hole (30 cm for palm trees), injector in place, connection to the existing irrigation network.

  • Installation of the drip emitter on the surface irrigation network and verification of its functionality.

  • Preparation of holes 20 cm deep for fruit trees (30 cm for palm trees) using an auger.

  • The injector is placed at the bottom of the hole after connecting the micro tube. Finally, the hole is backfilled with soil.

  • The micro tube is connected to the already installed drip emitter.

WaterLow: a battle against global warming

Founder
Born in 1972, Dr. BEDIOUI HEYKAL is a professor of General and Digestive Surgery, graduated in Europe in colo-proctological surgery in 2020. With more than 70 indexed international medical publications, Pr. BEDIOUI is well-accustomed to scientific research work. He started his research work in the field of root irrigation of trees in February 2023.

Drought, global warming, the salinization of water tables and soils in Tunisia, and the inefficiency of the conventional drip system during summer heatwaves are all factors threatening water and food security in Tunisia and around the world. The family support of his wife and his two children contributed to the realization of this revolutionary invention, patented in Tunisia, and whose name WaterLow clearly declares war against the consequences of global warming and drought.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Tout ce que vous devez savoir sur WaterLow : installation, économies d’eau, compatibilité et entretien.

1. How many injectors should be installed per tree?
The number of injectors depends on the type of fruit tree and the humidity level of the agricultural region (or even more).
The distance is 40 cm for fruit trees that are already planted and older than one year. It is 60 cm for date palm trees. For young plants, the Waterlow system is installed for root balls of 25 cm and more. The distance also depends on the nature of the soil  ( Learn more ).
When the irrigation system does not have a particle filter, it is necessary to check the emitters’ filters annually and rinse them if needed.
